New Student Orientation at McKendree is designed to assist new students and their parents in making a smooth transition from high school to life at McKendree.  Its goal is to contribute to student success and retention, and aid in creating greater satisfaction as a  McKendree student, in general.  First-year students who enter as degree candidates will participate in New Student Orientation.

Informational sessions on faculty expectations, social interaction opportunities featuring mixers, and small group discussions are an integral part of New Student Orientation.  An opening convocation, a formal ceremony that both welcomes and transitions the new class into the collegiate environment, will also be held.  Incoming students will have the opportunity to learn about McKendree; its services, history, and its spirit and tradition.

Please browse through information provided to assist our new students and parents in preparation of New Student Orientation.  Our site is continually being updated in preparation for the upcoming New Student Orientation sessions.  Please check back often for new information.  We look forward to being of service to you and your family.
