National Voter Registration Act

The 1998 Higher Education Act Mandatory Good Fair Effort for the National Voter Registration Act reads, in part, "The institution will make good faith effort to distribute a mail voter registration form, requested and received from the State, to each student enrolled in a degree or certificate program and physically in attendance at the institution, and to make such forms widely available to students at the institution." As part of McKendree's annual Constitution Day a voter registration drive open to the entire campus community is held  and is widely publicized.  Students can also obtain mail-in registration forms on campus. The State of Illinois has provided this link for students to use to print a voter registration form.
