Virtual Center for Teaching Excellence

This center provides information and resources to support McKendree University faculty in their efforts to offer a “high quality educational experience to outstanding students.” 

Our primary professional development activities at McKendree include:

• Teaching for Excellence workshop in August
• Teaching Circles in the fall
• Co-sponsor the Focus on Teaching and Technology Conference at UMSL in the fall
• Teaching for Excellence workshop in January
• BEARcat Reading Group in the spring
• Closing the Loop assessment workshop in May
• Academic planning retreat in May
• Make Your Mark Boot Camp in May
